This site is not open for business yet. The only thing it collects is an email address, and only if you choose to leave one. This page says plainly what happens to it.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you type and the date you gave it to us. That is all we ask for.

Like any website, our host keeps short-lived technical logs — IP address, browser, which page was requested. We use these to keep the site up and to spot abuse, not to build a profile of you.

What we do with it

We email you once, on the day the shop opens. That is the entire purpose.

  • We do not sell your address.
  • We do not send a newsletter.
  • We do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Until we open and email you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned, the list is deleted.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.

Write to hello@unclesnail.com. One address, no forms.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and there is nothing here for a child to fill in.

When the shop opens, the service will involve a parent or guardian uploading a photo of their own child. That is a materially different kind of data, and this page will be rewritten to cover it before a single photo can be uploaded.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. There is no analytics script and no third-party pixel on these pages.

Changes

When this page changes materially, we will change the date at the top. If you are on the waitlist when something significant changes, we will tell you.
